I Suck at Updating, Yet You Keep Coming Back?

I’ve been running this blog since November 2005, and I was pretty good at updating it, but the past year has been extremely busy for me, so I haven’t had the chance to update much, yet you keep coming back. WHY?

I’m just very curious what on earth makes over 12 000 people read this blog each month? Sure I do have a few interesting posts, but guys, I hardly update?!?

I have a ton of stuff to write about, especially in the viral/link baiting department, cause I’ve had tremendous success with a few very promising clients lately, but I just can’t find the time to write about it.

Which really makes me admire guys like Aaron, Andrew and Andy, who deliver killer posts day after day, some times multiple times a day. The same goes for Chris Garret, whom I have the pleasure of working with on one of the clients. How the HELL do you do it?

But I just gotta ask you again…why do you read my blog? What is it that you like so much? Maybe your answers would convince me to seriously try to keep it a bit more up to date ;)

Digg this entry! Delicious this!

Too lazy to remove somethign from the rss reader after it gets added. I killer post gets you added, then you stay on until death do us part. I added one person six months ago and they haven’t posted since. Come to think of it, they might get the ax…

Thanks for your input Greg, and yeah, it’s true, like, umm…Greg Boser. But when he does post stuff, it’s usually good, so he’s a keeper.

Anyone else?

I read your post because they are good. Your update frequency apparently doesn’t affect your content quality, so I don’t mind reading your posts when they are there. That’s what rss-readers are for…
