I’ve had many web sites during the years, and worked on even more for clients, but this is my very first blog. Actually, it’s more than a blog, because you will find in-depth articles about SEO, web site stats and how to promote your web site in Search Engines.
I must say setting up WordPress was really easy. The problem was to make it look the way I wanted. I already had the design ready, all the CSS and XHTML coding ready to go, but I have to admit I spent quite a few hours implementing my custom Word Press Theme.
And then I wanted it to display the Articles and Posts differently as well. The articles are long, so I didn’t want the whole article displayed on the frontpage, just the excerpt.
What I did was rewriting the PHP in the index.php, so when I write a post, i.e. an article, that has an excerpt it will display the excerpt only, and when I don’t have an excerpt, like this one, it will display the an automatic excerpt. I think that’s pretty neat.
Anyway, I hope you’ll enjoy this SEO Blog and the articles, cause I’m very excited about it.
